Get ready for a day filled with excitement and surprises as you explore the town and uncover hidden gems. Join us for a fun-filled adventure that takes you on a journey through the heart of the city. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience the magic of pop-up events and discover your town in a whole new light.

When beloved local storyteller and trivia champion Gabriel R. Spright passed away, the town mourned the loss of his quick wit and big heart. He had spent decades weaving riddles into daily life, scribbling puzzles on napkins, slipping trivia cards under coffee cups, and organizing quirky scavenger hunts just for fun.

So, in his will, Gabriel left one last challenge:

“To those who still know how to think and explore,
Follow my path through the heart of our town.
To find the places of my final trivia tour,
And find your reward, not gold, but a _________.”

Details of the Fun Pop-Ups Adventure

BEGIN YOUR QUEST at the Launch Location between 4:00 – 6:00 PM
ARRIVE AT THE FINAL DESTINATION between 6:30 – 8:30 PM

🗺️ Start at the Mystery Launch Location in Downtown New Port Richey (announced the day before to registered attendees only), where you will receive your clue packet and Quest ID.

🔍 Unravel the Trickster’s trail by following clues, solving puzzles and riddles, and searching for hidden hints as you visit participating local businesses on your way to the final destination.

⭐ Bonus Star Stops: Use your map to visit these special stops, where you can earn extra points toward prizes.

🎁 Finish the trail at the Final Destination Location, where your reward awaits, not gold, but something our Trickster left you in his will!

This is a self-paced, family-friendly walking adventure, designed to take about 2 to 3 hours. It is great for couples, families, or friend groups. There are plenty of opportunities to stop, enjoy a snack or drink, and explore local businesses before you reach your final destination.

Teams of 2 to 4 are encouraged, and discounts are available for groups.


Children under 16 are free. Please note that some clues may be hidden in bars, breweries, or restaurants that serve alcohol.

1. What are Fun Pop-Ups™ events?

Fun Pop-Ups™ are local events that change locations, themes, and fun on a regular basis. As they are "Pop-Ups" the are only around for a very limited time in a limited area. Many of them are interactive local adventures designed to get you exploring your town in a whole new way. These Town Trails events includes themed clues, puzzles, or challenges that lead you through local businesses, landmarks, and hidden gems. Every experience is unique, combining fun, discovery, and community connection.

2. Do I need a ticket for each person?

Tickets are sold per person or for a team size. Each event listing will include single, double, and group options.

Children under a certain age (usually under 16) can join for free with an adult team.

3. What happens if it rains or the weather is bad??

Events are typically held rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. In case of severe weather or safety concerns, the event may be rescheduled or adjusted, and all registered participants will be notified.

4. Are tickets refundable?

All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to another person if you can no longer attend. Event will go on, rain or shine.

If the event is canceled or postponed by Fun PopUps due to extreme weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, registered participants will be given the option to transfer their ticket to a future date or receive a full refund.

This policy ensures that we can keep ticket prices affordable while still supporting our local hosts, artists, and small businesses involved in each event.

5. Are pets allowed?

Many of our outdoor trails are pet-friendly, but please check your specific event listing for confirmation, as some routes may include indoor business stops that don’t allow animals.

6. What should I bring?

Bring a charged phone, comfortable walking shoes, and your sense of adventure and fun! Your "kits" will have everything you need to solve the puzzles, but you may want to shop, snack and drink along the way and support local businesses.

7. Are events family-friendly?

Most events are suitable for families, though some clues may lead to bars, breweries, or adult-only venues. Family-friendly routes will always be clearly marked on the event page. If you see "Crawl" events, these are generally reserved for adults over 21.
